This is a varied role where no two days are the same. • Writing job adverts that stand out for the right reasons
  • Sourcing and approaching great candidates via LinkedIn and recruitment platforms
  • Coordinating interviews without the usual calendar chaos
  • Keeping candidates updated and making sure they actually enjoy the recruitment process
  • Maintaining recruitment trackers so organised they deserve their own appreciation post
  • Preparing recruitment reports and supporting hiring managers with onboarding activities

  • Preparing contracts, HR letters, and employee correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Keeping employee records and HR systems organised, updated, and under control
  • Supporting onboarding and leaver processes so nothing gets missed along the way
  • Making sure documentation is compliant, secure, and nowhere near “I’ll sort that later” territory

Compliance & Employment Checks

  • Tracking employment checks and pre-employment screening before start dates sneak up on everyone
  • Chasing outstanding documents with the perfect balance of persistence and professionalism
  • Supporting right-to-work and wider compliance processes
  • Keeping audit-ready records that would make even the strictest spreadsheet fan proud

General HR Support

  • Providing day-to-day support to the HR team and wider business
  • Responding to employee and manager queries in a professional, approachable, and helpful way
  • Supporting improvements to HR systems and processes — because there’s always a smarter way to do things
  • Helping create a smooth employee experience from offer letter to onboarding and beyond

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience using HR systems and recruitment platforms
  • Confidence using LinkedIn and online recruitment tools
  • The ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

You’ll Probably Enjoy This Role If You…

  • Love being organised and keeping things on track
  • Enjoy balancing multiple priorities without breaking a sweat
  • Take pride in accuracy and spotting the details others miss
  • Are proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused
