Love clean linework, tidy data, and surveys that just make sense? Then you might be exactly who we’re looking for. At Lucion Survey, we’re on the lookout for a Topographical Surveyor to join our team in Stroud. You’ll be working on a varied mix of projects — from development sites to infrastructure schemes — producing accurate, reliable topographical surveys that clients can genuinely build on.
We value precision, pride in your work, and people who care about doing things properly (without taking themselves too seriously).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out topographical surveys using total stations, GNSS, and associated equipment
- Capturing accurate site data and turning it into clear, usable survey outputs
- Producing drawings and models to agreed specifications and standards
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Making sure quality, accuracy, and safety are never compromised
- Occasionally mentoring junior team members and sharing best practice
What We’re Hoping You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Topographical Surveyor
- Confidence using GPS/GNSS and total station equipment
- Strong attention to detail (you spot the things others miss)
- Experience with survey software and CAD outputs
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card (preferred, but we can help if needed)
The Perks (Because Details Matter Here Too)
We look after our people just as well as our projects. When you join Lucion Survey, you can expect:
- Techscheme – vouchers towards tech or homeware (upgrade your kit or your sofa — your call)
- Competitive salary depending on experience
- Healthcare Cash Plan – help with everyday healthcare costs
- Enhanced family leave – because life doesn’t stop at the site gate
- Option to buy extra holiday – more time for travel, rest, or doing absolutely nothing
- Training & development – keep learning, keep progressing
- A supportive team, well-planned projects, and managers who understand what good surveying looks like
Because accuracy matters — and it’s recognised here. Because your work will be trusted, valued, and built upon. And because you want to work somewhere that cares as much about people as it does about precision.
If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you.
Lucion Survey. Purpose-led. People-focused. Getting it right — every survey, every time.
