We’re looking for someone who can manage specialist equipment, coordinate materials, support radiation protection activities, and make sure everything — from monitors to samples — is exactly where it should be, when it should be there.
What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)
You’ll be the operational backbone supporting Radiation Protection Advisers, supervisors and clients working with controlled radioactive materials.
Day To Day, You’ll
- Manage stock of calibrated radiation monitors and ensure they’re always in working order
- Coordinate calibration schedules and equipment readiness
- Support laboratory teams in an RPS capacity
- Handle receipt and dispatch of NORM samples to designated labs
- Maintain PPE/RPE stocks and radiation-related consumables
- Assist with radioactive waste disposal routes for clients
- Carry out occasional process and compliance audits
- Deliver equipment and materials to client sites
- Support operations onshore
