Lucion Ground Engineering is looking for a Site Technician to join our expanding ground investigation teams. This role requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors, and experienced in groundworks (hand digging). Experience with diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out site work to support ground investigations
- Using diamond drilling/coring equipment to drill through hardstanding and concrete slabs
- Performing hand digging and general groundworks
- Assisting engineering staff with fieldwork operations
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as required
- Preparing and presenting test data
- Conducting site evaluations for tendering purposes
What We’re Looking For:
- Enjoys working outdoors and able to carry out heavy manual work
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Basic numerical and PC skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Experience using diamond drilling/coring equipment
- Knowledge of the ground investigation industry
