What will you actually do?
You’ll take the lead on a varied portfolio of projects, providing high-quality technical advice from assessment through to delivery.
Your days could include
- Leading air quality assessments for planning and environmental permitting projects
- Preparing technical reports covering air quality, dust and odour
- Undertaking and reviewing dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
- Designing and managing air quality monitoring programmes and analysing data
- Managing multiple projects, keeping them on time, on budget and technically excellent
- Building strong client relationships and supporting proposals and tenders
- Mentoring junior consultants and helping them develop their technical skills
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver joined-up environmental solutions
Desirable extras
- knowledge of Occupational Air Quality, Lighting or Greenhouse Gas assessments.
What are we looking for?
You’ll bring solid consultancy experience, technical confidence and a genuine interest in delivering work that makes a difference.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive consultancy experience in air quality
- Strong knowledge of UK air quality legislation, planning policy and IAQM guidance
- Experience using ADMS and ADMS-Roads
- Excellent report writing, communication and project management skills
- Membership of IAQM and/or a relevant professional institution
- Chartered status or progress towards it is desirable
- A proactive approach and a passion for high-quality environmental consultancy
