Join a team that’s driving change — protecting people and the planet while shaping the future of sustainable investment. We’re looking for an experienced environmental professional to lead our national Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team at Lucion. Our ETS specialists deliver commercially focused environmental and sustainability due diligence for high-profile real estate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions across the UK and Europe. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a fast-paced, high-impact consultancy team that sits at the centre of ground risk, flood risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability advisory.
You’ll lead an established and growing team of talented consultants, oversee strategic project delivery, and develop long-lasting client relationships in investment, real estate, and beyond.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a national team of environmental consultants across multiple offices – providing technical guidance, pastoral support, training, and performance management.
- Develop and manage key client accounts, helping shape strategic direction and unlock new market opportunities.
- Drive the growth of the ETS offering in line with Lucion’s 5-year vision and cross-sector ambitions.
- Oversee the delivery of complex, multi-site due diligence projects across the UK and Europe.
- Ensure technical excellence and quality assurance across all outputs – proposals, reports, and project deliverables.
- Own the financial performance of your team, including setting and achieving revenue targets.
- Line manage senior staff and actively contribute to talent development, recruitment, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with third-party specialists to deliver efficient, cost-effective outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- A proven team leader with strong commercial awareness and experience in environmental due diligence, particularly across ground risk, compliance, and sustainability.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body and a degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or similar.
- A confident communicator who builds trust with clients and inspires colleagues at every level.
- A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex challenges.
- Proficiency in managing large, multi-site portfolios, with excellent project management and financial skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
