Lucion is a technology-led environmental services consultancy, providing technical, regulatory, and risk management solutions to clients in construction, infrastructure, energy, and beyond. Our Geo-Environmental Division delivers site investigation services, contaminated land assessments, and drilling capabilities across the UK. As a UKAS-accredited and AGS member team, we pride ourselves on delivering practical, reliable advice to reduce risk and support project success.
We are now looking for a Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary consultancy working on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver site investigations and environmental monitoring
- Prepare desk studies, factual and interpretative Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports
- Schedule and assess chemical and geotechnical laboratory data
- Produce conceptual site models and risk assessments
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and labs to support project delivery
- Engage with project budgets, timescales, and client expectations
- Support proposal writing and fee estimates
- Maintain strong health and safety standards in line with Lucion procedures
- Build technical knowledge of relevant guidance, legislation, and best practice
- Continue CPD and contribute to technical development within the team
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related subject
- Minimum 2 years' experience in geo-environmental consultancy
- Practical field experience and reporting capability (Phase 1 and Phase 2)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Full UK driving licence
