Primary Purpose of the Role: The Lifestyle Account Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing elevated PR and communication strategies across a diverse portfolio of lifestyle clients, spanning technology, hospitality, interiors, design and contemporary brands. This position ensures the creation of culturally relevant, design-led narratives that enhance brand visibility, desirability and positioning within the luxury and lifestyle landscape.

The Lifestyle Account Director oversees all account activity while supporting the Agency Founder and Vice Presidents on strategic growth and new business development.

Direct Reports: Account Manager, Account Executive, Junior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and delivers communication strategies tailored to each client across lifestyle sectors, including technology, interiors, hospitality and design-led brands.
  • Leverages a strong network of top-tier media, editors, stylists, tastemakers and influencers to secure high-impact editorial coverage, brand features and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversees the strategic direction and execution of key brand moments, including product launches, press previews, activations, private events and cross-industry collaborations.
  • Cultivates relationships with key industry partners, including media, KOLs, creatives, designers and brand collaborators across the lifestyle space.
  • Leads and mentors junior team members, ensuring excellence in delivery across all accounts while maintaining a high standard of creativity, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Provides structured performance management, coaching and development to support team progression within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Oversees reporting processes, delivering insightful analysis on coverage and campaign performance across print, digital and social platforms, with a focus on engagement, reach and qualitative brand impact.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of lifestyle trends across interiors, travel, design and technology, identifying opportunities to elevate brand positioning and visibility.
  • Contributes to new business development, supporting pitches with strategic thinking, creative concepts and a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Ensures seamless management of multiple client accounts, maintaining exceptional standards, discretion and client satisfaction at all times.
  • Contributes to internal meetings and publication reviews, offering informed insights into the evolving lifestyle media.
  • Manages team workload and resourcing, to ensure consistent coverage across all accounts.
