Primary Purpose of the Role: The Beauty Account Director is a senior leadership position responsible for independently developing and delivering high-impact PR and communication strategies across beauty, skincare, fragrance and wellness brands. This role oversees all client relationships within the beauty division, ensuring the successful execution of campaigns and achievement of measurable PR results. The Beauty Account Director also supports the Agency Founder and Vice Presidents, contributing to new business development and strategic growth initiatives when required.

Direct Reports: Account Manager, Account Executive, Junior Account Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilises an established network of senior-level beauty, lifestyle and luxury media contacts to secure high-profile coverage, product placements, editorial features and VIP/influencer endorsements.
- Develops and implements innovative communication strategies for beauty clients, spanning traditional PR, digital, influencer marketing and social media, while contributing to proposals and pitches for new business opportunities.
- Leads and manages junior team members, overseeing multiple beauty client accounts and ensuring all campaigns, launches and press activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Provides ongoing mentorship, training and performance evaluations to support team development and progression.
- Demonstrates extensive experience in organising and executing beauty-focused press events, product launches, influencer activations, press trips and press days.
- Oversees reporting processes, including detailed written and visual reports, analysing press coverage across print, digital and social channels using relevant tools to evaluate engagement, reach and brand impact.
- Maintains strong relationships with key industry leaders including editors, journalists, influencers, KOLs, talent agents and brand partners within the beauty and wellness space.
- Supports the overall running of the beauty division, ensuring junior team members meet expectations and deliverables are consistently achieved.
