About The Role
As an XRF Analyst within our Analysis and Evaluation team at Lucideon, you will receive full training to perform expert analysis, method development, and calibration. Over time, you’ll become a recognised specialist, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality material analysis in compliance with UKAS and ISO 17025 standards. You’ll learn to perform routine and complex XRF analyses, lead calibration and optimisation projects, and contribute to solving challenging problems for clients in sectors such as nuclear, healthcare, energy, construction, and advanced materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality elemental analysis using XRF across a wide range of materials.
- Develop, calibrate, and validate XRF methods.
- Troubleshoot and optimise XRF processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement in XRF methodologies.
- Maintain compliance with UKAS and ISO 17025 standards.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and reporting.
- Develop and support other analytical areas including ICP‑OES/MS, Ion Chromatography, and sample preparation as required.
Full training will be provided to develop in all these areas.
