If you’re passionate about sustainability, data and making a difference, this is your opportunity to build specialist expertise in carbon and ESG reporting—while developing towards a career as a professional auditor.

Why this role is different

This isn’t a “sit and watch” graduate role. From the start, you’ll get hands‑on experience working on real ESG and carbon assurance projects, learning from experts and building technical skills that are in high demand. This role is site‑based in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyzing environmental, energy and ESG data
  • Supporting reporting frameworks such as GRI, SECR, UK ETS, GHG Protocol and GRESB
  • Taking part in site interviews and evidence gathering
  • Preparing audit reports and verification statements
  • Working on multiple projects with colleagues across the business
  • Building relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Continuously developing your technical and auditing skills

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for curious, analytical graduates who want to build a career in sustainability and assurance.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • A degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, data/science or a numerical discipline
  • An interest in ESG, carbon reporting or climate‑related topics

You’ll Also Bring

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Confidence working with data (Excel skills are a plus)
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Flexibility to travel (mainly UK, occasional overseas – driving licence preferred)
