Join our Team as a Library & Information Specialist at Lucideon!

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and analytical Library & Information Specialist to join our Information Services team on a part-time basis.

Role Purpose

Our Information Services team provides timely, efficient, and valuable resources to inform business decisions and support Technology Partners in their R&D activities. This involves utilizing methodologies and resources from our collections, contextualizing research questions, and identifying knowledge gaps for further research. As a Library & Information Specialist, you will play a vital role in this team. Candidates should have experience in an information services or library role, with a technical or scientific background.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Configuration and optimization of library systems, processes, and services
  2. Collection management and development, including book ordering and cataloging
  3. Connecting with internal and external clients to deliver content and services to support their work and R&D
  4. Providing literature searches to support R&D internally and externally
  5. Providing insights on current trends, such as articles and events of interest to the business
  6. Staying updated on professional skills and library best practices, including new developments like AI, to keep Lucideon well-positioned

  • 22.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3 pm; flexible options considered)

Qualifications
