We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong Microsoft Purview expertise to support a client in onboarding and embedding Purview into their data environment ahead of a Microsoft Fabric go-live. Purview was deployed previously but is not currently in use, so this role will focus on activation, governance setup, and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of Microsoft Purview
- Establish data governance frameworks and best practices
- Configure data cataloguing, classification, and lineage
- Work closely with the client’s Data SME/Analyst to enable adoption
- Provide hands-on guidance and ensure long-term usability
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect
- Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks
- Solid understanding of data cataloguing, lineage, and classification
- Ability to work in a consultative, stakeholder-facing role
Contract Details
- Duration: ~7–8 weeks
- Engagement Options: 1 day per week OR 2 days per week (preferred for faster delivery)
- Start Date: Early February 2026
