Role Overview

We are looking for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to provide on-site IT support within a production-critical environment, ensuring continuity across manufacturing and logistics operations. This role will act as the "boots on the ground" night shift presence, delivering a high-quality, responsive ("white glove") IT support service, owning incidents through to resolution and coordinating with wider IT and vendor teams where required.

Scope of Work

  • On-site IT support across production lines and logistics systems
  • Troubleshooting across end-user devices, networks, and plant systems
  • Ownership of incidents through to resolution or coordinated escalation
  • Acting as the single point of contact for shopfloor and plant operations during shift
  • Coordination with application, infrastructure, and third-party support teams
  • Support minor changes, deployments, and continuous improvement activities
  • Operate in a production-critical environment where system downtime directly impacts output

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in IT support within a manufacturing/factory/shop-floor environment
  • Strong skills across PC/end-user support and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (LAN/WAN)
  • Experience supporting production or manufacturing systems (MES/shop-floor systems)
  • Ability to manage and own incidents end-to-end, including coordination with wider teams
  • Comfortable working onsite in a shift-based/night environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and operational staff
