Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a team of Desktop Installation Engineers to work on a project in Glasgow, this will be on a 3 month contract, initially.
Responsibilities:
- Unbox and install laptops and desktops, and perform straight swaps with users as required
- Install equipment to desks and ensure proper power connections
- Install monitor arms and other peripherals as needed
- Ensure all installations are completed according to company standards and within the specified timelines
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and best practices while carrying out installations
- Maintain accurate records of installations and report any issues or discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in technical installation, particularly with laptops and desktops
- Active PVG clearance is mandatory or willing to go through the checks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation guidelines and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
