Role Overview
Embed into a multidisciplinary Agile team to understand complex user needs and business context, delivering quality, well-tested and accessible user interfaces based upon existing prototypes. This role is open to both Mid-Level (SFIA Level 4) and Senior (SFIA Level 5) Front End Developers, with responsibilities tailored to experience level.

Responsibilities
- Build and iterate features and fixes on user interfaces
- Collaborate with designers to ensure accessibility standards are met
- Review merge requests and maintain high code quality standards
- Work with Back End developers to integrate common workflow management capabilities
- Mentor and support junior designers or trainee engineers in Front End development (appropriate to experience level)
- Drive business value and ensure alignment between business strategy and technical implementation
- Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to discussions at departmental level
- Use specialist knowledge and experience to support technical development within the team
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience delivering accessible, user-centric Front End applications in public sector or complex organisational environments
- Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently while embedding effectively into multidisciplinary teams
- SC Clearance must be active and verifiable at start date
- Experience with Node.js Back End integration
