We are seeking an experienced AV Engineer with a passion for technology and a proven background in audio-visual installations. The successful candidate will be client-focused, highly organised, and capable of delivering high-quality installations across a variety of environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within the Audio Visual (AV) industry, with a strong understanding of AV installation practices.
- A genuine interest in technology and emerging AV solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience installing a wide range of AV systems, including displays, projectors, video conferencing equipment, audio systems, control systems and structured cabling.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring installations are completed to the highest standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the willingness to work additional hours when required to meet project deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and a disciplined approach to documentation, communication and project delivery.
- Previous experience in AV 1st and 2nd fix with crimp and solder termination is essential.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience leading installation teams across multiple client sites.
- Experience planning and coordinating installation activities.
- Knowledge or experience of AV control system programming (eg Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, AMX or similar).
- Relevant academic qualifications in Audio Visual, Electronics, IT or a related technical discipline.
- Cabling (Cat5e-7) and fibre experience highly desirable.

- CEDIA qualifications
- ECS Card
- PASMA
- IPAF
- Asbestos Awareness
- Relevant Health & Safety certifications
