Job Description
Bizerba Test Engineer - Derby - 2 days a week (3 months initially)
We are looking for an experienced Bizerba Engineer to support the testing and assessment of self-service checkout weighing scales at our customers Derby site.
The engineer will be responsible for testing weighing-scale units brought into the site from various supermarkets, ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly and meets the required technical and operational standards.
The role will involve testing approximately 10-14 units per day.
Previous Bizerba training and hands-on engineering experience is essential for this role.
Carry out functional and operational testing to confirm equipment is working correctly.
Handle a high volume of equipment, with an expected throughput of approximately 10-14 units per day.
Specific Bizerba training and/or hands-on engineering experience - essential.
Previous experience testing, servicing, repairing or commissioning weighing scales.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
Comfortable working in a high-volume, repetitive testing environment.
Able to work independently and manage daily testing targets.
