The Calling
We are on the hunt for an inspiration catalyst, a designer who dreams in interactions and has the vision to transform how people connect with technology. Who sees potential where others see constraints, who breathes life into designs and transforms complexity into elegance. A creative force who turns user needs into visual poetry. If your creativity is hard to contain, you like to push a few boundaries but cherish balance and cohesion, solo flow, or team jam sessions - we embrace both.
About Us
We are a dedicated software house focused on delivering cutting-edge control solutions for everything from intimate meeting rooms to vast multi-function auditoria. Our expertise lies in making complex AV systems feel simple and delightful to use. We believe great design can transform how people interact with their spaces. Inspire us, and we will be thrilled to welcome you aboard this adventure.
The Role
We need a design partner who can elevate our control system interfaces from functional to exceptional. You will work directly with our Lead (who handles UX and product development) to transform complex building controls into interfaces that feel effortless. You will be the visual voice of our products - taking solid UX foundations and infusing them with personality, polish, and visual sophistication. Think of it as being handed a well-structured song and turning it into a symphony.
- Explore & Innovate: Dive into the world of user needs, from the tech guru to the tech novice, understanding what makes them tick in smart environments.
- Design Magic: Sketch out wireframes that tell a story. Craft UI elements that are as functional as they are fabulous. Build interfaces that make users feel like they are not just using software, but living in it.
- Team Up: You will collaborate with developers who translate your vision into reality, ensuring our tech looks as good as it works.
- Client Whisperer: Present your vision with confidence, gather insights, and iterate until it clicks.
- Pixel-Perfect Partner: Create handoffs so clear and thorough, developers will actually thank you.
- Prototype Like a Pro: Bring concepts to life with interactive prototypes that turn skeptics into believers.
Equal parts evolution and revolution - enhancing our existing products while creating entirely new experiences. You will shape how people interact with some of the world’s smartest buildings.
Must-Haves
- A portfolio that speaks louder than any diploma - Show us interfaces that simplify complexity. Bonus points for control systems, IoT, or technical interfaces, but great design is great design.
- Figma fluency - You work in components, think in systems, and can make Figma sing.
- Design philosophy rooted in purpose - You understand that good design isn’t just pretty; it’s about making life easier for everyone.
- Storytelling skills - You can pitch your designs with clarity and conviction, helping stakeholders see the vision.
- Results over credentials - We don’t care where (or if) you went to school. Self-taught? Bootcamp? Traditional degree? If your work is exceptional, that’s what matters.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with enterprise software or technical interfaces.
- Understanding of responsive design across dramatically different screen sizes.
- Comfort with design systems and scalable thinking.
- Previous agency or client-facing experience.
