ABOUT THE ROLE
The Studio Director is responsible for leading the effective delivery and performance of Studio Production at Lucid, ensuring all outputs are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the highest quality at scale.
This role focuses on driving delivery excellence in creative execution, production efficiency and scalable delivery, and quality control across all client work.
Acting as the central link between Creative, Design, Motion, Technology and Operations, the Studio Director plays a key role in delivering Studio work effectively, ensuring high-quality output while supporting the wider Creative & Operations strategy.
The Studio Director safeguards quality, maintains brand consistency while driving continuous improvement in workflows, integrating AI and Smartshore capabilities, and supporting commercial sustainability.

- Maintain a level of hands‑on involvement in production delivery, contributing directly to output where needed to support team capacity and ensure successful delivery
- Take accountability for all final Studio outputs, artwork and production delivery
- Oversee the quality of the production team’s work, ensuring strict adherence to client briefs
- Implement and maintain quality control processes across all Studio outputs
- Ensure consistency, accuracy and brand integrity across all client materials
- Provide senior oversight across artwork, Power Point, digital and cross‑platform deliverables
- Safeguard technical excellence and compliance standards
- Production Efficiency & Workflow Optimisation
- Drive improvements to Studio production workflows to increase efficiency, speed and consistency
- Identify inefficiencies and reduce manual effort and turnaround times
- Support the ongoing development of scalable systems, templates and repeatable processes
- Drive standardisation across artwork and Power Point delivery
- Apply and reinforce best practice for how Studio work is delivered
- AI & Smartshore Integration
- Support the adoption of AI tools into Studio workflows
- Support the application of evolving delivery models, including offshore and hybrid approaches
- Apply and optimise the balance between onshore, offshore and AI‑supported delivery in line with agreed models
- Ensure Smartshore output meets quality standards
- Support adoption of new tools and ways of working
- Project & Workflow Leadership
- Provide senior oversight across projects
- Interpret and consolidate client briefs into clear internal direction
- Partner with Traffic and Creative Operations to support realistic timelines and delivery
- Contribute to workflow optimisation within the Creative Operations framework
- Support effective project delivery through clear communication and coordination
- Client Partnership & Strategic Alignment
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholder to support effective Studio Delivery
- Ensure all Studio materials align with client branding and strategic objectives
- Strengthen brand propositions through consistent, high‑quality execution
- Support the delivery of strategic priority workstreams across Lucid Group
- Represent the Studio function in key discussions

- Provide full leadership and management of the Studio team
