- US Marketing works with clients across the Rx, Medical Device, OTC and Consumer Device categories to deliver compelling communications and promotional solutions to Healthcare Professionals for in-market assets.
About The Role
As a Consultant at Lucid Strategy Consulting, you will be responsible for working in a team to provide strategic guidance and solutions to our clients to help them improve their performance and achieve their business objectives. Your role will involve analysing complex problems, developing innovative strategies, and implementing practical solutions.
A Consultant at Lucid Strategy Consulting is responsible for:
- Project delivery
- Supporting the development of project specifications including objectives and scope
- Leading development of issue trees to define hypotheses, structure research activities and identify data needs and sources
- Selecting the appropriate research/analysis plan given research and analysis options and trade‑offs; maximizing use of available networks (internal/external) to obtain information
- Preparing and conducting interviews, and facilitating client meetings and workshops
- Generating insights from research and analyses – identifying the implications (the 'so what'), from data gathering/analysis
- Identifying appropriate objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators) for client's functions and projects
- Using presentation tools and techniques to engage effectively with the target audience
- Overall, developing and delivering structured, high quality client deliverables (written and verbal)
- Developing realistic project plans with associated roles and responsibilities
- Guiding team members in execution of their project responsibilities
- Proactively identifying risks to project delivery and raising them with associated resolution actions to Project Manager
- Monitoring and flagging issues with regard to work effort and budget tracking
- Providing informal coaching and development to new members of staff
- Coaching and developing project team members in collaboration with the Project Manager / Director (tasks, communication, attitude)
- Completing and scoring project objectives of more junior team members where appropriate, and in collaboration with the Project Manager / Director
- Providing input to direction and content of proposals and leading clearly defined business development activities
- Proactively identifying business development opportunities with existing clients
- Maintaining relationships with clients post completion of engagements
What We're Looking For
Essential skills:
- 2 or more years of client‑facing consulting experience in the pharmaceutical/health sector
- A degree in a scientific, medical or life sciences field
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish credibility and trust with clients and colleagues
- Proven ability to produce exceptional quality written and verbal client deliverables
- The ability to think strategically and problem solve
- Experience of building understanding of key strategic and operational drivers and issues impacting a company
- Strong MS Office communication tools – high proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word, familiarity with MS Excel
Desirable skills:
- Experience or aptitude for business development activities, including identifying opportunities and contributing to proposal development
- High proficiency in MS Excel
