Overview
We are looking for an IT Technician to join our growing team. You will be reporting directly into our IT Lead and working alongside other talented Technicians where you will have the opportunity to develop, learn and progress.
What you’ll do
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff, diagnosing faults such as logon issues, profile faults, permission errors.
- On-boarding new hires to the studio.
- Off-boarding team members from projects.
- Building and setting up PCs and installing and testing new software.
- Manage equipment requests and inventory, including performing frequent audits.
- Keeping office and meeting rooms tidy - collecting unused equipment.
- Scheduling IT recycling and waste pickup.
- Assisting with desk / office moves.
What we’re looking for from you
- Sharp problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make well measured prioritisation/triage decisions.
- Windows 11 experience.
- Ubuntu Linux experience would be beneficial.
- Basic network knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Ability to build a PC from parts and diagnose faulty hardware.
- Able to lift 25kg.
What can you expect during the Interview Process
Onsite Interview – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with our Lead IT Engineer, Senior IT Technician and Head of Talent. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
Onsite interview – A final Interview with our Studio Director and IT Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
