Lucid Connect are exclusively representing a leading logistics solution provider, which is seeking an experienced onsite IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and support their operational technology needs.

This is a newly created role to manage the company\’s IT operations, systems, and infrastructure. Exisiting experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP ERP integration is particularly important to thrive in this role.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company\’s technology supports its goals and that its IT resources are secure and efficient.

This role will suit a hands-on technology professional with experience of managing the security of a company’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customised systems and overseeing all computer-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure and Technical Support

• Oversee Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Windows servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Manage IT infrastructure, network security, and data protection
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
• Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively

Systems Management

• Manage and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Administer SAP Business One (SAP B1) implementation, configuration, and ongoing support
• Ensure seamless integration between WMS, SAP B1, and other critical business systems
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company business objectives

Project Management

• Lead technology transformation and digital innovation projects
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships for technology solutions and support contracts
• Coordinate IT budgeting and resource allocation
• Researching new technologies (hardware and software) as part of ongoing process improvement
• Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Accomplished experience in IT management within logistics or supply chain environment
• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Technical knowledge of SAP Business One or related ERP systems
• Microsoft technology certification (MCSA/MCSE preferred)
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
