I am looking for the person who can help me change how Lucent Glass operates. As the business has grown, it has become clear that too much customer communication, quotation work and day to day coordination still comes through me. I need to change that.

We are recruiting a Customer and Sales Support Coordinator to work directly with me and Jane at Lucent Glass. This is much more than a general administration role. You will become an important point of contact for our customers, helping us manage new enquiries, understand their projects, maintain our CRM, issue and follow up quotations and make sure nothing gets overlooked.

I am looking for someone who is:

  • Exceptionally organised
  • Friendly and confident on the telephone
  • Comfortable speaking with customers about their projects
  • Experienced with Excel and confident learning new systems
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership
  • Accurate, reliable and good at following things through

Experience within windows, doors or construction would be useful, but it is not essential. We can teach the products. Personality, communication and organisation are far more important.

The position is based at our office in Sutton on Trent, near Newark. Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.30pm. Permanent position with a three month probationary period. Salary dependent on experience. We will carry out a formal review at the end of the initial three months to assess performance, development and the long term shape of the role.
