Overview
The Senior Strategic Planning Manager is a new role, created to drive the strategic plan for Luceco group, ensuring there is alignment to the plan and priorities across the portfolio of businesses. The role will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure topics are discussed, decisions made or escalations made as appropriate. The role is key in terms coordinating activity across the group functions within the UK and international portfolio of businesses, supporting the CEO and executive team make timely and effective decisions, and to monitor and ensure execution against the plans.
*The role will be hybrid with the need to work in the London office (Baker Street) 2 – 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and facilitate the annual business planning cycle translating the group business strategy to the annual plan for each business within the group, and overall.
- Own the annual calendar of activity across the group and manage monthly business reviews, highlighting progress and issues for all key activity.
- Monitor and manage the group business plan, ensuring progress is tracked, reported, celebrated and course corrected to ensure the plan is executed in line with expectations.
- Manage the portfolio of cross business / functional projects from concept to delivery, identifying risks, issues, dependencies, milestones etc to deliver all key objectives to the timescales agreed.
- Create and manage a dashboard of KPIs to track and manage business activity and key projects.
- Build relationships and work closely with leaders across all businesses to ensure delivery of key activity, reporting back on KPIs where required.
- Own and lead governance across the total group.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Minimum qualified to degree level.
- Renowned as an expert in leading planning activity and ideally also with experience of programs management and significant hands-on experience.
- Resilience is key as we move to a more structured way of working as a business.
- Desirable – APM, PRINCE II or MSP practitioner or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Confidence to hold people to account and “call things out” to ensure we remain on track to deliver the plan
- Results focused with confidence to challenge where needed.
