We’re looking for an experienced, commercially focused National Key Account Manager to drive growth across our UK Trade channel. This is a field-based, customer-facing role where you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of nominated Key Accounts, working closely with senior stakeholders and regional sales teams to deliver sustainable commercial growth.
- Proactively promote and develop business across all UK Trade products and divisions, ensuring full execution of agreed trading agreements
- Take full ownership of growth, volume and activity targets across your allocated Key Accounts
- Maximise account potential through regular face-to-face engagement with existing and new customer sites and teams
- Implement agreed commercial activity and maintain strong relationships with key customers, working closely with the UK Trade Sales Director and National Sales Manager
- Support and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Managers to drive performance and capability across the wider sales team
- Lead and manage Commercial Trading Agreements, holding structured performance reviews with customers and internal stakeholders
- Produce clear, accurate and timely performance reports to monitor KPIs, sales activity and agreed targets
- Conduct regular joint customer visits with Area Sales Managers, providing coaching and development support where required
You’ll be a confident, commercially astute sales professional with a strong track record of managing and growing key customer relationships.
- Proven sales growth experience
- High IT competence (Word & Excel)
- Confident CRM user (Salesforce, Phocas or similar)
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in a National or Key Account role within a relevant industry
