Location: Telford/Jiaxing

We are seeking a technically minded Product Manager who shall be responsible for our Masterplug portable power product portfolio, in our trade, retail and international markets.

The role involves working closely with our sourcing and product development teams at our Far East manufacturing site, and key business stake holders including, UK R&D, Marketing, Operations, Sales and Quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the product roadmap NPI projects.
  • Understand the requirements and trends of the portable power market sector.
  • Management and creation of product related information, pricing, packaging, instruction manuals, data sheets, labels, sales aides.
  • Confident to present new products to internal sales teams, and deliver internal training sessions.
  • Strong consumer and product awareness.
  • Support the marketing/product management/sales team with customer visits where necessary.
  • Management of product data for internal PIM (product information management) system and customer new line forms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Support Product Management team in all aspects of ‘cradle to grave’ product life cycle.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Regular reviews with Product Director to ensure projects are progressing to required specification.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Highly motivated and driven to deliver market leading products, with excellent organisational skill with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at one time, and to tight deadlines.
  • Graduate in Product Management/Business/Engineering Ideally 2-3 product management experience in the electrical distribution sector.
