๐ฅ About the Role
Reporting to the Director of People & Talent, youโll be a key partner to senior leaders across the Group.
The Head of People (North) works in partnership with 3 of our businesses that form a part of Luceco UK PLC. They will work closely with the leadership team to achieve their strategic goals by helping them to build people capability and raise the performance of their teams.
The role is key to implementing group-wide People initiatives, influencing leaders, building capability, improving colleague engagement, and driving positive change.
Youโll be responsible for overseeing People Operations (including payroll, HR systems and MI reporting), while supporting and coaching leaders to build capability, engagement, and positive change.
Youโll work from our Rotherham and Mansfield sites (minimum 2 days a week at each) and occasionally travel to other Group businesses (around once or twice a month).

- Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders
- Deliver forward-thinking, people-first strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead operational HR functions with attention to quality, compliance, and care
- Focus on recruitment, development and managing performance to drive our total talent position.
- Use insight and data to inform practical and impactful people solutions
- Guide and mentor team members, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment

- Help shape culture and lead change with empathy and confidence
- Resolve complex employee relations issues with integrity and compassion
๐ก What You Bring
- A CIPD qualification (or equivalent HR qualification/experience)
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and UK employment law
- A track record of coaching and influencing leaders
- Ability to combine analytical thinking with a collaborative mindset
- Experience leading organisational development or change initiatives
- Skilled in using people data to support decision-making and business cases
- Strong communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills
- A calm, proactive, and inclusive leadership style
