To provide day to day administration to support the Contract Management Team, assisting with and supporting the processing of documentation for key business processes. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders, contractors, customers and suppliers. Build robust relationships to ensure effective management of the contract.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Effective communication with customers, the Contract Management Team and the Freight Business Manager to assist in the proactive management of any issues.
- Provide Customer KPI Data for presentation by the Contract Management Team.
- Maintain and ensure key business trackers, databases and reports are managed and updated in a timely manner.
- Receipt of customer demand & arrange delivery of products.
- Co-ordination of transport to ensure products are delivered on time.
- Expedite (internally and externally with supply chains and customers) the receipt and processing of business data.
- Undertake ERP system transactional processes to support the invoicing of customers for products delivered.
- Assist and support when required with customer queries.
- Escalate any concerns or issues promptly to the Assistant Contracts Manager and Contracts Manager as appropriate.
- To work closely with other members of the Freight Business team and support as required.
- Book meeting rooms for meetings and arrange catering as and when required.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Five GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent).
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills using Excel.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
- One years administrative experience in a similar customer-faced role.
- Able to work individually or as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written.
