To line manage a team of Contracts Administrators and to support the Contracts Managers in managing & delivering products, goods & services contracts with key customers. Understand Customer Requirements including specification, volume, schedule and material requirements. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders, contractors, customers and suppliers. Build robust relationships to ensure effective management of the contracts.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Effective Management of the Contracts Administrators ensuring:
- Key LUR business trackers, databases and reports are maintained and updated
- Key Customer business trackers, databases and reports are maintained and updated
- Transactional processes are completed in a timely manner
- Invoices are transacted and processed for customers for products, goods & services delivered
- Customer order books are managed and accurately maintained in the company ERP system
- Cover for Contracts Administrator tasks are delivered as and when required
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Five GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, power point and excel
- Ability to see, own & resolve issues through to completion
Desirable
- Three years experience in a similar customer-facing role.
- Understanding of lean principles and Continuous Improvement philosophies
- A full UK driving licence
