Lucas Systems is currently seeking a Business Development Representative for our office in Bracknell, UK. Along with Sales & Marketing leadership, you will drive predictable, metrics-driven, inbound/outbound lead generation results in the UK & EMEA. We are looking for someone to be ‘hands-on’ engaging mid-level and senior executives in our target market to include account research and prospecting, inbound & outbound lead qualification. Lucas offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment, so the candidate must bring high energy, curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency to the position. The role is hybrid in our Bracknell office - 3 days on site / 2 from home.
Responsibilities
- Utilise Apollo, our AI-powered sales intelligence and engagement platform to meet performance goals for calls, emails, and appointments set.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to align activities with the overall sales strategy.
- Develop & implement prospecting campaigns.
- Follow up on leads from marketing activities, including trade shows and web inquiries.
- Nurture prospects through the sales funnel using Salesforce CRM and Apollo.
- Participate in select sales calls to add value & grow your knowledge of the business.
- Attend trade shows and other industry events.
Requirements
- Experience in utilising a sales intelligence and engagement platform, such as Apollo, to achieve first-time appointment (FTA) targets.
- Experience in an inbound/outbound lead generation function.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Drive to learn and develop expertise in our domain.
- Strong online research skills.
- Experience using MS Office tools and CRM software (Salesforce is preferred).
- Familiarity with Apollo and marketing automation tools (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua) is a plus.
- Prior experience in, and familiarity with, the supply chain industry is a plus.
