About the Role

Join our production team manufacturing high-quality automotive interior parts. We are expanding our team of sewing technicians and trimmers in response to growing demand and our commitment to the standards that have built our reputation in the automotive interior sector.

Reports to: Head of Production

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture high-quality interior parts using industrial sewing machines
  • Sew leather and nylon based products under tension, straight and to pattern
  • Carry out trimming and gluing work alongside sewing tasks as required
  • Use solvent-based adhesives, aerosols and compressor-driven equipment safely
  • Troubleshoot industrial sewing machine issues
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe workstation
  • Work independently and as part of the production team
  • Keep a steady pace and meet production targets

Requirements

Must Have

  • Good knowledge and experience of industrial sewing machines
  • Ability to sew leather and nylon based products under tension
  • Accurate pattern following with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable timekeeping with a steady, consistent pace
  • Safe and competent use of solvent-based glues and aerosols
  • Ability to troubleshoot common industrial sewing machine issues
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Good to Have

  • Experience in automotive upholstery (preferred)
  • Trimming experience alongside sewing
  • Experience with bespoke or high-end interior products
