The Role

You'll play a critical role in expanding Lucanet's presence in the UK market as a Business Development Representative (BDR). Working within our Sales team, you'll identify business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and social selling, and you'll qualify inbound leads for our SaaS CPM platform. You'll work closely with our Account Executives, passing on qualified leads through a high velocity funnel that they convert into new customers. This role offers a clear progression pathway through to Account Executive, so it suits an ambitious, driven person who wants to build a career in sales. You'll work hybrid from our London office, or remotely from anywhere in the UK.

What You'll Do

  • Identify business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and social selling
  • Qualify inbound leads and assess their fit and interest in our platform
  • Build relationships with stakeholders up to and including C-level executives to uncover their needs
  • Pass on qualified leads through a high velocity funnel to our Account Executives
  • Arrange meetings, calls, and emails between prospects and our sales team
  • Work closely with Account Executives to support the team's goals and targets

What You Bring

  • Completed your studies or gained experience in a fast-paced environment, and you're ready to start your sales career
  • Confident, persuasive communication skills paired with strong listening skills to uncover customer needs early
  • A highly committed, responsive, and target driven approach to selling our SaaS solution
  • Comfort with technology and an eagerness to learn our CPM platform
  • Business fluent English, written and spoken

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Knowledge of lead generation techniques and outbound prospecting methods
  • A demonstrated track record of hitting goals and key deliverables
