The Role
As an Expert Finance Business Partner - FP&A / Go-To-Market, you will partner closely with the CRO and their leadership team to provide high-quality financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and translate commercial initiatives into clear financial impact. This is a senior, hands-on FP&A role focused on revenue operations, Go-To-Market performance, budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and business case development. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior commercial stakeholders, helping them understand performance drivers, productivity, investment trade-offs, and opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the CRO and VP-level Go-To-Market leaders, providing financial insight, challenge, and decision support.
- Translate commercial initiatives into financial impact, including business cases, scenario modelling, and investment recommendations.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting activities, including cost, productivity, variance analysis, and revised projections.
- Develop executive-level reporting and KPI analysis to track spend, productivity, revenue performance, and key B2B software/GTM metrics.
- Drive complex analytical projects using advanced modelling and FP&A tools.
- Act as a senior finance expert within the FP&A team, proactively supporting the business and mentoring junior team members where required.
What you bring to the table
- Strong experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance business partnering, ideally within a B2B software/SaaS or Go-To-Market environment.
- Advanced financial modelling, analytical, and business case development skills.
- Strong understanding of revenue operations, commercial performance, and Go-To-Market metrics.
- Excellent communication, business writing, and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to influence without authority and adopt new technologies, including AI.
