The role involves the day-to-day leadership and development of the home, creating a safe, stable environment where young people can thrive.

  • Lead and inspire a strong staff team (recruit, train, supervise, develop)
  • Drive high standards of care, safeguarding and practice
  • Ensure the home is fully compliant with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Manage referrals, admissions, care planning and outcomes
  • Deliver an effective rota and staffing structure that supports stability
  • Build positive relationships with placing authorities, parents, professionals and stakeholders
  • Prepare for and lead on Ofsted inspections, audits and continuous improvement

What we're looking for:

  • Existing/Experienced Registered Manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Confident in safeguarding, quality assurance, staff performance and occupancy management
  • A leader who is calm, consistent, child-focused and ambitious for better outcomes
