The predicted salary is between 30414 - 36989 Β£ per year.
We are recruiting for a Band 5 Locum Pharmacy Technician to join our NHS client, providing ward-based pharmacy services across multiple hospital sites.
Start Date: Ideally the first week of August 2026
Contract: Until the end of October 2026 (currently funded)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7.5-hour days with flexibility between 8:00am and 6:00pm
Locations: Brecon, Ystradgynlais, Bronllys and Llandrindod Hospitals
This is a ward-based role supporting medical, care of the elderly and older adult mental health wards. There is no on-call or weekend commitment.
Essential requirements:
- Current General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration
- Enhanced DBS (Adults)
- Medicines Management Accreditation
- Ability to independently undertake medicines reconciliation and patient's own drugs assessments
- Experience managing discharge medicines and supervising pharmacy assistant staff
Desirable:
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT)
- Experience using the BetterMeds electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) system (training can be provided)
