About the Role
Lucam Consultancy is currently seeking a
passionate, dedicated, and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
with experience in
Dermatology or Minor Operations (MOPs)
to join our team in Gloucestershire. You will work alongside a
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
supporting
Two-Week-Wait (2WW) outpatient clinics . Your main responsibility will be to provide support to patients throughout their appointments, including acting as a
chaperone
and helping to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during their care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HCA with a background in outpatient services who is looking for flexible weekend work. Key Responsibilities
Chaperone patients during consultations and clinical procedures. Support the CNS during Dermatology and Minor Operations clinics. Provide a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused service. Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive clinical environment. Follow relevant clinical, infection control, and confidentiality procedures. Work effectively as part of the wider clinical team. Essential Experience
Applicants
must have previous outpatient experience , ideally within: Dermatology Minor Operations (MOPs) Outpatient Department (OPD) settings A minimum of
6 months' relevant experience
in a specialised outpatient setting is required. Requirements
Minimum of 6 months' relevant HCA experience. Previous experience within an
Outpatient Department (OPD) . Experience in
Dermatology and/or Minor Operations (MOPs) . Right to work in the UK. A professional, caring, and patient-centred approach. Ability to work weekends. A DBS on the update system or happy to obtain Benefits of Working with Lucam Consultancy
