Purpose

To carry out clerical duties required to ensure the efficient operation of the Application laboratories.

Responsibilities

  • Despatching samples to customers, partners and other Lubrizol sites, as requested by the technical and commercial teams.
  • Help manage the Applications sample inventory, arranging for disposal of old samples, checking stocks of standard supplies and booking incoming samples into the inventory management system.
  • Ordering of all chemicals and consumables for Applications teams.
  • Liaising with suppliers in order to source required raw materials.
  • Managing the Safety Data Sheet inventory.
  • Help to manage safety documentation, including co-ordinating the reviewing of critical documents.
  • Process transactions in SAP necessary to support the above duties.
  • Assist in the lab as required, with specific emphasis on helping to prepare samples required for despatch.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and conform to all HSE&S procedures in own work area and shared areas of labs.
