Responsibilities

  • Manage portfolio of raw material category(s) within a matrix organization
  • Source and onboard suppliers, establish master supply agreements and contracts, and maintain supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with global category manager to feed regional inputs and align with global strategy
  • Translate business strategy into regional procurement plans and multi-year sourcing strategies
  • Execute sourcing to optimize TCO, assure supply, quality, service, and innovation
  • Lead pricing and negotiation strategies for category materials
  • Educate stakeholders using market intelligence to strengthen competitive position and mitigate risk
  • Report cost evolution and trends to support price management and commercial objectives
  • Implement supplier management practices to improve performance and corrective actions
  • Engage early with complex business areas and manage supplier activity across multiple accounts
  • Adhere to HSES policies and corporate procurement procedures
  • Represent Lubrizol professionally to protect the brand
  • Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Engineering (or related field) with experience in procurement strategy development
  • Experience leading procurement strategy and implementing strategic plans
  • Procurement, commercial, or product management experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industries
  • Fluent in English, strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to relate to and work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; solid business acumen
  • Ability to navigate cultural differences and regional issues
  • Knowledge of regional regulatory, legal, tax, and import/export requirements
  • Knowledge of sourcing lifecycle and excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; ERP experience including SAP is a plus
