How You’ll Make An Impact
The Demand Manager will join the team as a Subject Matter Expert in Demand Planning and will be responsible for developing and maintaining regional Consensus Demand Plans based on historical data, market trends, sales inputs, and other relevant factors. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills to translate data into analyses and actions and to lead the monthly Demand Review of the Integrated Business Planning process. The Demand Manager will report into the Global Demand Planning Director and partner with core team members within the Sales, Product Line Owner, Supply Chain, Finance and other key stakeholders.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and maintain regional and global Consensus Demand Plans (CDP) by analyzing historical data, market trends, sales inputs, and other relevant factors.
- Lead monthly Regional Demand Reviews within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, collaborating with Sales, Product Line Owners (PLO), Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to reach consensus.
- Identify and address gaps between CDP and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), assisting with mitigation options and analyzing deviations between actual and forecasted demand.
- Perform what-if analyses, scenario planning, and manage by exception to highlight and recommend demand plan overrides.
- Collaborate with PLOs during New Product Introduction (NPI) and End of Life (EOL) processes to ensure accurate demand changes.
- Partner with Sales, Data Science, IT, and other groups to standardize and improve data sets, deliver demand planning training, and promote best practices.
- Track demand planning performance using established KPIs and metrics, identify causes of forecast error and bias, and implement improvement plans.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitor data, and customer feedback to proactively identify demand opportunities and changes.
