- As a
PT Engineer, you'll play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by providing process expertise, troubleshooting plant issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our production facilities.
Working closely with Production, Quality, Technical, Planning, Engineering, and HSE teams, you will help deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes while supporting the introduction of new products and technologies.
In this role, you will
- Provide technical process support and real-time troubleshooting for manufacturing operations to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable production.
- Monitor plant performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve safety, product quality, process efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, productivity, energy reduction, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate the successful scale-up and introduction of new products, working collaboratively with Technical, Production, Quality, and Planning teams.
- Conduct raw material evaluations, laboratory trials, process assessments, and analytical investigations to support product and process improvements.
- Participate in hazard studies, management of change (MOC) activities, root cause investigations, and site safety initiatives.
- Manage and maintain production batch documentation, process specifications, and SAP transactions to support manufacturing and quality requirements.
- Support the development and improvement of analytical methods used to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
- Champion Lubrizol's commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects and operational priorities.
- Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related science or engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to deliver practical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience supporting chemical manufacturing, process engineering, or production operations.
