How You’ll Make An Impact
As a Supply Planner, you ensure a reliable and efficient supply plan that balances demand, capacity, and inventory across regions and business units. You collaborate across functions to maintain product availability and respond to changing conditions in a dynamic supply chain environment.
In This Role, You Will
- Develop and manage a feasible supply plan balancing demand, production capacity, and inventory targets
- Ensure product availability by maintaining accurate planning parameters and proactively addressing supply–demand gaps
- Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by identifying risks and proposing mitigation actions
- Translate supply plans into actionable guidance for regional execution teams
- Validate near‑term supply commitments and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve constraints
- Maintain accurate finished goods and raw material planning parameters in systems
- Drive alignment with commercial and manufacturing teams across regions
- Monitor and maintain key performance indicators such as service level, inventory targets, and production adherence
- Escalate supply issues to supply chain and business leadership when required
- Support external manufacturing partners and new product launches where applicable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning or a related supply chain role
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing or multi-plant chemical environment
- Proficiency with supply planning systems or S&OP platforms (e.g., OMP, o9, SAP IBP)
- Hands‑on experience with SAP, ideally SAP S/4HANA
- Strong analytical skills including capacity evaluation, scenario modeling, and root cause analysis
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage disruptions and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
- Solid business acumen and ability to balance trade‑offs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the chemical industry or complex manufacturing supply chains
- Exposure to integrated business planning (IBP) processes
- Experience working with external manufacturing partners
