As a Deployment Manager (Lead Technical Service Technologist) for Driveline Europe, you will partner closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high‑value technical solutions supporting both new product commercialization and existing product optimization.
How You Will Make an Impact
- You will translate customer needs into clear technical project plans, ensure high‑quality execution, and act as the primary technical interface for assigned accounts.
- By building strong internal and external relationships, you will shape innovation pathways and help drive Lubrizol’s technology deployment strategy across the region.
- You will lead projects from concept to completion, defining scope, coordinating resources, managing testing, and ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality, and cost while promoting and embedding project management best practice across a small team.
- You will act as a subject matter reference for project standards, tools, and ways of working without holding direct line management responsibility.
- You will hold portfolio management responsibilities, as part of the technical project management process.
- Your expertise will support robust formulation development, OEM approval processes, customer problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- You will collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, R&D, Testing, Sales, and other key functions while representing Lubrizol in customer meetings, technical forums, and industry events.
- Your contributions will directly support regional business growth and reinforce Lubrizol’s technical leadership in driveline technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience within a relevant industry.
- Proven experience in a customer‑facing technical role.
- Effective project management capabilities, including project economics.
- General knowledge of statistics and data interpretation.
- Experience working in multifunctional and global teams.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and technical rigor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
