What You'll Do
- As a Logistics Support Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient site operations and providing comprehensive logistical support. This will include:
- Managing full pass control, conducting internal audits, and maintaining roll call for the site when required.
- Facilitating site visitors and contractor inductions to ensure compliance and safety.
- Overseeing the scheduling and coordination of deliveries and site bookings to ensure smooth operations.
- Organizing and arranging transport for visitors to meet their needs efficiently.
- Taking ownership of invoice payments and raising Ariba requisitions for the logistics department and other departments as needed, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Purchasing logistics items through Ariba or using a credit card, and ensuring procurement processes are followed accurately.
- Supporting the logistics team in obtaining quotes for waste disposal services and contributing to effective waste management solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Site Security Management: Oversee S2 updates and manage all passes to ensure optimal site security.
- Documentation and Vendor Coordination: Facilitate the exchange of MSDS documentation and acquire quotes from multiple waste disposal vendors to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Cost Optimization: Utilize Ariba and credit card cross-referencing to maximize cost savings.
- Site Accountability: Manage access and exit through the Daily Booking System to ensure accountability on site.
- Logistics and SAP Management: Take ownership of all SAP entries for incoming goods within the logistics department.
- Invoicing and Vendor Liaison: Handle SAP entries for site services invoicing, liaise with vendors and the accounts team, address invoice queries, and amend requisitions as necessary.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support across all departments, including managing stationery orders and catering requirements.
- Supplier Compliance: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure receipt of all Certificates of Analysis (COA) in compliance with BS14001 standards and upload them to the internal system.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange and book DHL collections as required.
- Compliance Verification: Maintain Known Consignee qualification by verifying driver authenticity and cross-referencing with external websites to ensure full compliance.
