Job Title: Senior HSE&S Professional II
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HSE&S Professional II to lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSE&S) activities. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, ISO standards, and corporate standards. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in HSE&S performance, maintain our community’s right to operate, and prevent incidents that could lead to financial losses. A proactive approach to safeguarding our plant and operations is essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee monitoring of operations to ensure compliance with HSE&S regulations through inspections, audits, and adherence to regulatory duties.
- Develop and support the implementation of Process Hazard Analyses, health, safety, environment, and process safety programs, including training and awareness initiatives, audits, and ensuring plant procedures align with policies and standards.
- Keep senior management informed of changes in HSE&S regulations affecting the business.
- Issue reports as required by company standards.
- Maintain documented HSE&S systems and facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, emergency services, consultants, and industry associations.
- Report to the UK HSE Manager and supervise HSE support staff, employees, and contractors on site. Inspire and promote excellence in HSE&S practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, chemistry, or equivalent, with additional qualifications in health, safety, environmental management, and process safety.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and technical processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles.
