Job Description
- You will be involved in cutting-edge financial matters across a broad range of activities and clients, including audit and assurance.
- You will be involved with planning, all the way through to completion of audits, typically leading a team of juniors, as well as acting as the key contact to the client.
- You will be in constant interaction with the team and your audit partner.
- You will receive training and feedback from exceptional practitioners, along with international and advisory exposure with your clients.
- You will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting, financial and business inter-personal skills, and build your career with the firm.
- You will get the chance to enjoy and participate in a wide range of the firm's social events and external networking.
Requirements
- At least three years' audit experience, established within a mid-tier accountancy practice.
- The ACA qualification with excellent communication skills.
- Experience liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
- The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills.
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- A sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market.
- The ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and technical knowledge is kept up-to-date.
- The ability to ensure that all client deadlines are met and to budget accordingly.
- Working knowledge of Caseware would be an advantage.
- Consideration for the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibility.
- Enthusiasm, drive and determination, coupled with a 'can-do' approach to work.
