Lubbock Fine is a successful 22 Partner accountancy and tax advisory practice based in the City of London. We are a founder member of the award-winning global network Russell Bedford International. Continuing our successful organic growth, we plan to expand our team to 200 professionals in 2025. Job Description
- You will be involved in cutting-edge financial matters across a broad range of activities and clients, including audit and assurance
- You will be involved with planning, all the way through to completion of audits. Typically leading a team of juniors, as well as acting as the key contact to the client
- You will be in constant interaction with the team and your audit partner
- You will receive training and feedback from exceptional practitioners, along with international and advisory exposure with your clients
- You will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting, financial and business inter-personal skills, and build your career with the firm
- You will get the chance to enjoy and participate in a wide range of the firm\\\’s social events and external networking
Requirements
- At least three years\\\’ audit experience, established within a mid-tier accountancy practice
- The ACA qualification with excellent communication skills
- Experience liaising with all relevant stakeholders
- The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Excellent IT and presentation skills
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- A sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market
- The ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and technical knowledge is kept up-to-date
- The ability to ensure that all client deadlines are met and to budget accordingly
- Working knowledge of Caseware would be an advantage
- Consideration for the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibility
- Enthusiasm, drive and determination, coupled with a \”can-do\” approach to work
