Test Technician Widnes | £30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits 4 Day Working Week (Monday to Thursday) Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for electronics and problem-solving? Our client, a well-established and highly respected electronics design and manufacturing business based in Widnes, is looking to recruit a Test Technician to join their growing product test team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative electronic products, with full training and ongoing development available for candidates looking to build a long-term career within electronics testing and manufacturing. The Role As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, validating and repairing a variety of electronic products and PCB assemblies. Working within a busy production and test environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet quality and performance standards before reaching customers. Key Responsibilities * Testing a wide variety of electronic systems and PCB assemblies. * Completing and maintaining accurate test records and documentation. * Investigating customer returns and producing repair reports. * Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on defective products. * Interpreting test results and identifying root causes of issues. * Supporting the maintenance of test equipment and the overall test environment. About You We're keen to hear from candidates who: * Have previous experience in electronics, manufacturing, testing, repair or a similar technical environment. * Enjoy hands-on technical work and problem solving. * Have strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering quality work first time. * Possess good general computer skills. * Are eager to learn and develop their technical knowledge. * Can work effectively to deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
