Resource Manager – Microsoft Projects / PMO Location: Remote, UK based Contract: Full-time Contract IR35: Outside IR35 We are looking for an experienced Resource Manager to join a growing Microsoft Partner, supporting the effective allocation of internal resources across a portfolio of client-facing Microsoft projects. Working closely with the PMO, Project Managers and delivery teams, you will take ownership of resource planning and allocation, ensuring projects have the right people and skills available at the right time. Key Responsibilities * Manage the allocation of internal resources across multiple Microsoft client projects. * Work closely with Project Managers and the PMO to understand current and upcoming resource requirements. * Maintain clear visibility of consultant availability, utilisation and project commitments. * Identify potential resource clashes, capacity issues and skills gaps. * Balance competing project priorities and support effective resource planning. * Coordinate resource changes as project timelines and requirements evolve. * Support forward planning and forecasting across the project portfolio. * Provide stakeholders with clear, accurate information on resource availability and capacity. About You We’re looking for someone with: * Previous experience in Resource Management, Resource Planning or PMO resource allocation. * Experience allocating people across multiple concurrent projects. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities. * Confidence working with Project Managers and senior stakeholders. * Good understanding of project delivery environments. * Experience within a Microsoft Partner, IT consultancy or professional services environment would be highly advantageous. * Exposure to Microsoft transformation projects such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 or Power Platform would be beneficial.
