Our client, a global company, is urgently seeking an experienced IT Technical Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis, with hybrid working arrangements. As the IT Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical aspects of projects or non-standard work requests, ensuring that all technical requirements are met and that the project or request runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities as the IT Technical Coordinator:
- Lead and assist with the non-standard request process, including scheduling of work, gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and managing budgets.
- Ensure all departments adhere to agreed timelines and deliver solutions to the business as planned.
- Align all technical components with project objectives and timelines.
- Manage, track, and report on BAU projects and tasks to ensure deadlines are met and outputs are delivered within quality constraints.
- Record the progression of technical tasks.
- Conduct regular reviews and reports to update stakeholders on the status of projects and non-standard requests and resolve any technical issues.
- Assist with resource allocation and planning to optimise productivity and ensure budget adherence.
- Collaborate with department managers to agree on resource allocation.
- Support the triage of technical requests and assist with gathering and documenting requirements.
- Ensure that service transition processes are carried out for all work requests and projects.
Key skills and experience required as the IT Technical Coordinator:
- Proven experience in a similar role, supporting the scoping/designing of IT projects within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Good knowledge of project and resource management tools (MS Project Online, MS Forms, Jira).
